We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Activity Director in planning and organizing a variety of activities and events for residents
- Provide support and assistance to residents during activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment
- Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Answer phones in the office when not providing services
- Collaborate with the activity director to develop new programs based on resident interests and needs

Skills:
- Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules effectively
- Knowledge of event planning principles and techniques
- Understanding of dementia care practices and techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment
